Celebrating our 25th anniversary | Print |

There's an old saying that when one door closes, another door opens. In May 1985, Farleigh Dickinson’s Florham/Madison campus closed the door on their symphonic band. But another door opened when, in September of that year, the nucleus of the FDU group became the Hanover Wind Symphony under the direction of Peter Boor. The rest, as they say ,"is history."

Here we are, 25 years later, still bringing music to people and people to music with a very exciting lineup of performances. Our season begins on Wednesday, October 21st as we share the 'Time of Our Lives', including music from our debut performance and a look to our future.

We are thrilled to have world renowned clarinetist Stanley Drucker joining us for our 25th anniversary gala concert at the Community Theatre on March 21st. Many of our 'Old Friends' will be there as well, celebrating with us.
